The Government Ministries

Currently, the Government consists of 12 ministries. Each ministry is responsible for the preparation of matters within its field of competence and for the proper functioning of administration.

The ministries are

- The Prime Minister’s Office

- The Ministry for Foreign Affairs

- The Ministry of Justice

- The Ministry of the Interior

- The Ministry of Defence

- The Ministry of Finance

- The Ministry of Education and Culture

- The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry

- The Ministry of Transport and Communications

- The Ministry of Employment and the Economy

- The Ministry of Social Affairs and Health

- The Ministry of the Environment.
